Update Sept. 1/ 2008

 ~~ Summer of 2008 was exciting !  Had the opportunity to visit Oregon and all its glory.  Made contact with the Oregon Forestry Service, Keiger Mustang Ranch, and Oregon Wildlife Society.  Each one of these business's sent me home with lots of knowledge, about how they try to preserve the heritage of the Mustangs.  I spoke with Ranchers, Farmers, Cattle Producers, and Horse Trainers.  Not all agreed, but each one told me their side.  I watched with anxious eyes as LAMAR CABLE worked on his horses.

Many of the horse people from the North End of Oregon to the South End, all spoke about DAVID LEE ARCHER.

As the winter progress's I will be contacting the WHOAS along with other societies to set a date for education of the Wild Horses, along with a benefit.  Please stay tuned. ~~

~~~~~~~
As of March 1, 2008...we are in the process of organizing a benefit for the Wild Horses of Alberta. We are working alongside of W.H.O.A.S. (Wild Horse of Alberta Society).
Our goal is to protect their enviroment, allow them to roam free, without harmful hinderance from man. We are set to go to schools and communities, and educate. Most city dwellers along with county folk, have no idea what is happening to these horses.
I have contacted several people in regards to a benefit.  From members of the W.H.O.A.S., to George Strait, to John Scott.
At the moment, i am waiting for confirmation from George Fox. I have several artists that are willing donate pieces of their artwork to the benefit, for a silent auction. I have also spoken frequently to 'David Lee Archer', internationally known Trainer and Clinican.  www.smokeyjoe.com  He also trains Wild Horses for many different positions.
In May I am off to Oregon, to visit with 'Dale Thornton', and visit the Keiger herds. To see for myself how these Beautiful animals live within the Steen Mountains. I also have an appointment with the Oregon Forestry. I have had the priviledge of speaking with the man that started the first training and knowledge centre for Wild Horses,
in Central Oregon. And will sit and talk with him.
I must give credit to 'Dale Thornton', for suggesting that Bless The Animals Foundation look at the Wild Horse saga.
